In 2006, Max and Nick met as solo artists writing mainly for piano, but with the addition of Jeremy and his influence of the cello, they decided to expand their sound and write songs for an array of instruments. While their musical tastes stem from the indie/folk/alternative genres, they have been experimenting with many different sounds, including tracks featuring the banjo and various digital elements. However, their roots in piano and lyrical profundity still remain an important aspect when working on new material.
Between April and June of 2007 they recorded their first EP, I Am Made of Steel. The band is working on new material every day, and a full length album should be available by summer '08.
All three members currently reside in Columbus, Ohio where they attend The Ohio State University.
